David Watson is an associate in the Dallas office of Cooper & Scully, P.C. David has gained valuable experience in a variety of cases involving complex business/commercial litigation, real estate, IP and employment issues.
David obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The University of Texas at Dallas in 2015 and his Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University - Dedman School of Law in 2018. While in law school, David served as a research assistant for Professor Marc Steinberg and served as a judicial intern to Honorable Carl Ginsberg in the 193rd Civil District Court in Dallas County. David was the Associate Managing Editor of the International Law Review Association at SMU from 2017-2018 and a Staff Editor from 2016-2017. He has been recognized as a Texas Super Lawyers Rising Star by Thomson Reuters for 2024.
