This topic will discuss the concept of "fracturing" of legal malpractice claims into other claims including fraud, breach of fiduciary duty and negligent misrepresentation in order to circumvent the statute of limitations. An examination of what types of allegations have been found to be actionable under theories other than malpractice, and those that have not.
